For weddings, the turn-around time is 4-6 weeks, although many times it is faster. For all other sessions, the turn-around time is 2-4 weeks.

What’s your turnaround time?

I deliver all sessions and weddings via a private, password protected, online gallery called Pixieset, where you can download all of your hi-res edited images! This gallery is private, but you can also choose to share with a simple click of a button!

How do you deliver our photos?

Absolutely! In fact, I usually suggest to clients that they ask all photographers that you are inquiring with to see their full galleries! It’s super important to see a final, finished product! And not just the select images we chose to post.

Can we see a full gallery?

Absolutely! In fact, I encourage all my clients to print their work! Our generation has a tendency to keep everything digital, but having a physical copy is such a fun way to preserve your images for generations. Once you receive your online gallery, you will have the option to order prints directly from the gallery! I work directly with a printing service, which will be more expensive then say “Shutterfly” or “Target”, but is much higher in quality. (Again, though – this is just an option. You have the print rights, so you may choose to print wherever you’d like)

Do you offer prints? 

Um, YES! I LOVE traveling! Traveling rates aren’t as bad as you think! I don’t charge any “fees”, I just require that all my traveling expenses are taken care of – even if you want to use your points to fly me!

Do you travel for weddings?

Of course! Yes, my work is focused on moments, emotion, and intimacy! BUT having photos with your mom, dad, and grandparents is just as important! I also make sure to capture a number of traditional portraits of you two. I call it “mom’s fridge picture”, because chances are, that’s where it will end up! 

Your style is super non-traditional, do you still do the “smile at the camera” family photos? 

YES! I get this ALL the time. Unless you’re a model, influencer, or blogger, most people aren’t used to being in front of a camera. Almost every couple you see on my website and Instagram said the same thing. I make a point to be FRIENDS with you guys so that you’re comfortable in-front of me. And when I’m behind the camera, I don’t want to “pose” you - I want to capture the raw, in-between moments. I will be giving you guys “cues” (ex: whisper something sweet into her ear!). This helps you guys relax and focus on each other, and not the fact that there is a camera around.

I’m super uncomfortable in front of a camera. Will you be able to make us look good?

Nope! In fact, I try to avoid them. However, I love getting lists of family members and combinations for family photos! 

Do you need a shot list?

It’s easy! I take a 50% retainer when you sign your contract! The remaining 50% is due on the day of!

How do we reserve our day?

I don’t alter the way you look, other than temporary skin blemishes (like acne, a scratch, or a bruise), and sometimes I will soften lines and under-eyes. That being said, I totally understand being self-conscious of certain things. Just make sure to mention it, and I will take extra care in posing you. (I also always ask before we shoot, if either of you have a “side” you prefer, and try to keep that in mind while shooting.)

Do you photoshop us?

Absolutely! Like I said before, I want to be friends with you! So if that means helping pick out your outfit for the engagement session, or referring you to a certain vendors to, I’m here to help make this easy on you! I also love be involved in the scheduling of the wedding day! If you have a planner, we always work closely to make sure the schedule is as fluid as possible. If you don’t have a planner, don’t worry – I’ll help you schedule the day so it goes off without a hitch! (Or should I say, only one “hitch”, haha)
